Hangover Fix FAQ

Is there a hangover cure?

No reliable cure exists. Time is what allows you to recover. Drinking less, or not drinking, is the most dependable way to avoid a hangover.

Do electrolytes help a hangover?

They can replace salts lost with fluids, but evidence does not show that they treat a hangover. Rehydrating may help thirst; it does not speed recovery.

How long does a hangover last?

Usually within about a day, though it varies and symptoms can last longer. Rest and time matter. Speak to a doctor if symptoms persist or worry you.

When should I see a doctor?

Seek medical help for persistent vomiting, trouble keeping fluids down, or symptoms that worry you. Call emergency services for confusion, seizures, slow or irregular breathing, or someone who cannot be woken. Do not leave them alone.
